The 73536i offers an impressive 2,000 watts maximum output (1700 watts rated) and is parallel ready meaning two Champion 2000 watt generators can be stacked to combine the output power into one outlet with the use of an accessory parallel kit (not included). Powered by a Champion 80cc OHV (Overhead Valve) engine and provides a running time of 10 hours with a full tank of fuel at 25% load. Encased in fully enclosed light weight durable casing (only 48 lbs.) with carry handle for easy portability. For maximum ease of use the 73536i features a low oil sensor, overload protection and an economy mode option. Also offers a variable speed engine so as to reduce noise (only 53 Dba).

Champion customers have been impressed with the lightweight, compact design of the 73536i portable generator enabling users to transport it with ease and travel and camp in remote locations. Users are also satisfied with the performance of the generator in a domestic setting as a backup power supply for household appliances such as TV’s and fridge freezers. Another advantage of the Champion 73536i is the fact that it does not emit as much noise as other fuel powered portable generators on the market, making it perfect for remote camping locations as well as the home. However, some users have suggested placing a foam pad underneath the generator so that vibrations and therefore any unwanted noise is limited. Customers have also offered recommendations regarding the specific oil guidelines supplied by the manufacturer in the manual, stating that other potential users are best to use a quart of oil before start-up. Suggestions have also been made that the 73536i may not be capable of supplying an air conditioning unit continuously, whilst others have claimed that this is only the case when the generator is set to the Economy Mode switch.

Overall, Champion customers have been very satisfied with the performance of the 73536i portable generator for the reasonable price and value for money. However, the most praise given to this model was due to the quietness of the engine in comparison to other fuel powered portable generators offering a similar output on the current market. The immediacy of start up after minimal pulls and general ease of use have impressed users for an extremely favourable review.
