Under Armour Review
Under Armour is an international creator of sports clothing that aims to enhance athletes’ performance through innovation in technological design. Designs are typically very fitted and have a sleek, streamlined look. The product range includes sleeveless and short sleeved t-shirts, performance polos, woven shorts, running shoes, backpacks and a full range of golf clothing.
Overall reviewers were very positive about the company’s product line. People really liked the snug fit of the shirts, shoes and other products. Particularly coming in for praise was the Under Armour Catalyst Shirt, which people liked for its warmth, versatility and lean fit. On the style of the products there was a mix of comments in favour of either the retro look of some products or the modern styling of others. A few buyers commented favourably about the running shoes, particularly about the quality of the fit and their lightness – a pretty incredible 6 ounces a shoe. This is similar to “barefoot” style shoes although Under Armour’s have a thicker sole and more cushioning.
On the negative side some buyers felt that some products were less breathable than they ideally wanted. One reviewer also felt that the BB Charge basketball shoe was incredibly light but perhaps fell down on the amount of support it provided for heavy duty players. They did commend the company for creating a unique design and were interested to see what the next iteration would look like.
Sales & Promotions
The company occasionally runs promotions on their social media pages like the Summer Outlet Event, which includes product discounts. They also run competitions like one in July to vote for a female athlete to get a trip to the Armour retreat in Costa Rica. Liking or following the company will also ensure customers get notified about new product ranges. One feature of the company is its support of those in the armed services and the company offers 10 percent off purchases to active or former members. Most recently this offer has been extended to current EMT-certified First Responders.
Coupon, Discount, and Voucher Codes
Hotukdeals has reasonably good discounted offers every so often with deals sometimes listed of between 30 and 70 percent off products. Dealcatcher has offered discounts on women’s trail shoes of $68 (down from $90), while vouchercloud has run a deal for free delivery on orders over £75. Alternatively, Netvouchercodes has offered 25 percent off selected Outlet Clothing while Giftcards.com has offered 12 percent discounts on Under Armour e-gift cards.
The standard shipping cost is £5 and customers receive a tracking number via email once an order has been shipped with the option to follow the progress of orders by logging on. It will usually take between 2 – 4 working days from the time an order is placed until it is despatched. Purchases can only currently be sent to a physical address so P.O. boxes are not accepted.
Refund & Returns Policy
Under Armour will exchange products for any reason whatsoever, provided they are returned within 30 days and are in resalable condition. When returning goods customers must include the original receipt and a brief note explaining the reason for the return. However, original shipping costs and cost of returns are non-refundable. The company recommends using a traceable return delivery service.

Founded in 1986 by a former college football player, Under Armour was a pioneer in the area of performance clothing – using technology to design clothing that worked with the wearer to enhance performance. The company originally started with a fairly modest plan to design a superior t-shirt – one that provided compression and took perspiration away from the skin rather than absorbing it. One of the key features was to regulate body temperature and enhance overall performance.
